2010 Mb C300 Driver Door Lock Not Working

I took it to a mercedes benz specialist and they said it could be a door actuator.

I have mercedes benz c class estate 2009 model that has developed a door locking issue. 2010 c300 driver side door lock actuator was not working and door would not lock i replaced actuator and the door now closes and latches but the actuator still does not work. This is a costly component to replace at the repair shop but it is something you can do at home. Perhaps your mercedes locks work but they open and close slowly.

It seems to only play up once a month or so but now the front. Apply wd 40 or equivalent product directly into the lock. Our local mechanic couldn t identify a problem. Open and close lock to recalibrate. All of the other door lock actuators work. You likely have a shorted door lock actuator which you can replace with a new unit for the lock that is not working.
