2011 Ford Edge Sport Roof Not Closing

Have only opened the vista roof 2 3 times including last night.

When i opened the moon roof the gears was grinding some so i tried to close the moon roof it stopped midway it appears that when it was grind. The vehicle was not repaired. Owned this 2011 edge limited for about a year. Found quite a few similar cases for the old american edge from a google search but found that my sunroof won t close this afternoon.

So the metal part moves but the sunroof doesn t. The sun roof remained continuously in the open position. It looks like the sunroof on the left side has come off the metal part that moves the sunroof open and closed.
